Founder & Principal
Amanda Pullinger, FRSA
Amanda Pullinger is Founder and Principal of Global Female Investors Management, LLC.
Amanda is also Principal and CEO of Pullinger Management, LLC, an organization offering a number of services including Private Board service, Interim CEO engagements, and Corporate Speaking opportunities.
Amanda was previously the Chief Executive Officer of 100 Women in Finance. Over twenty years, she was responsible for taking the organization from one hundred women in the hedge fund industry to a globally respected professional association of over 30,000 registered members, operating in 32 locations across five continents.
Amanda Pullinger graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University in 1987 with an Honours Degree in Modern History. She earned an MBA from La Salle University, Philadelphia, in 1998, and received the Academic Award for MBA student of the year as well as the Beta Gamma Sigma designation. Amanda is married to John Hughes, a Sound Recordist on British TV and Films, and she lives and works between the East Coast of the US and the UK.
Principal
Vanessa Yuan
Vanessa is Principal of Global Female Investors Management, LLC. Previously, she was the Director of Marketing & Investor Relations at Stansberry Asset Management (“SAM”). Prior to SAM, she was an SVP and CFO of Citi Private Bank’s Global Investments business. Vanessa also worked within MUFG’s Corporate & Investment Bank covering the Media, Telecom, & Sports Finance industries for US clients providing credit analysis, acquisition financing, new syndicated bank facilities, and other IB&M products.
Earlier in her career, Vanessa was an Investment Counselor at Fisher Investments, and an Alternative Investments Associate in the J.P. Morgan Private Bank. At Fisher, she was responsible for maintaining a $250mm book of High Net Worth Clients, and at J.P. Morgan she worked on the global suite of alternative investment products from an array of managers of private equities, hedge funds, real estate funds, and exchange funds. She began her career at Morgan Stanley where she was responsible for the tracking and management reporting functions for all of the Firm’s Investment Banking M&A business.
Vanessa has been a member of 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”) for 17 years, and is extremely active within the organization. She has also been involved with several non-profit organizations throughout her career.
Vanessa had an accelerated graduation with honors, and received a B.A. in Finance with concentrations in Economics and Spanish from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. Vanessa resides in NYC with her husband and two young children.
